Trouble Could Be Ahead For Next Sandy Relief Bill

“House Republicans are gearing up for another fight over the second of two packages to provide aid to Hurricane Sandy victims,” Politico reports. The legislation, representing about $50 billion, could get watered down with amendments and threaten to provide far less money to those affected in the Northeast. Based on the recent showdown on this issue (see Gov. Chris Christy), predict a bruising fight ahead.
