Sophie, a virtual doctor, has been programmed to interact with patients in a similar manner to a human doctor, as well as diagnose people based on their body language. Dr. David Samadi praises Geppetto Avatars’ success, stating, “I will certainly hire her in my practice” due to her efficiency and ability to cut down on phone calls to the doctor. He further explains that, “The way this computer is set up is exactly the way a doctor’s brain is supposed to be set up.”
