Sit for any length of time with John C. Rogers and you’re likely to be confronted with sentences that are constructed like mathematical formulas.
“Government relations plus public relations equals public affairs,” Rogers says, leaning back in his office chair and explaining his job.
Rogers runs a lobbying shop and is proud of it.
He is the president of Capstone National Partners, a public affairs company with offices in Milwaukee and Washington, D.C.
He’s also something of a futurist, on the cutting edge of blending Hollywood creativity and high technology with military know-how to help train soldiers. He’s the CEO of RL Leaders, a California-based company that provides immersive experiences for training.
It all makes for a very hectic life for the 52-year-old married father of two who lives in Whitefish Bay and carries on a bi-coastal business career.
“I’m a big believer in the story and cutting through the clutter,” he says, conveying the practical art of lobbying.
