House GOP Push On EPA Running Out Of Steam

After passing countless bills targeting EPA regulations in the past two years—only to watch the vast majority of them collect dust in the Democratic-controlled Senate—House Republicans are beginning to acknowledge they are running out of options for challenging President Obama’s environmental agenda. “The path forward right now would be to wait four more years, hope we have a new president and a new Congress, and have another go at it,” Rep. Joe Barton, R-TX, chairman emeritus of the Energy and Commerce Committee, said at a National Journal forum on Wednesday.
