High-Skill Immigrant Bill

A group of Democratic and Republican senators plan to introduce a bill that would make it easier for certain types of immigrants who work in technology to gain visas, The Hill reports. The bill, co-sponsored by Sens. Orrin Hatch, R-UT, Marco Rubio, R-FL., Chris Coons, D-DE, and Amy Klobuchar, D-MN “proposes to increase the cap for H-1B visas to 115,000 from the current cap of 65,000.”
