Today is the last chance for states to tell the Health and Human Services Department whether they want to have any role in planning the health insurance marketplaces that are set to open for enrollment in October. INFO RECORD-BREAKING RECOVERIES FROM HEALTH FRAUD INVESTIGATIONS NJ writes, “For every dollar spent on health care-related fraud and abuse investigations in the last three years, the government recovered $7.90, according to a new report from the departments of HHS and Justice. The government teams recovered $4.2 billion in FY 2012, ROI was the highest in the history of the Health Care Fraud and Abuse program.”
