GE Healthcare executive chairs walk for premature babies

The first time Thierry Leclercq saw a premature-born baby was eight years ago in a German hospital. He had to look away.

“I saw the nurse working on the baby, and it was so intense,” he said.

Since then, Leclercq, president and CEO of Life Care Solutions for GE Healthcare, has seen countless such babies in his travels around the globe. Whether in rudimentary hospitals in the developing world, or state-of-the-art facilities in Milwaukee, he is always struck by the passion of caregivers who nurture newborns.

Now, the French-born Leclercq, whose business is to bring products to market to help patients, is taking on a role that is typically American. He is giving back, serving as event chair of the March for Babies April 27 at O’Donnell Park. Read the full article here.
