Capstone Welcomes Michael Landrum

Capstone is proud to welcome Michael Landrum as a policy advisor in our Washington, DC office. He will serve as a strategist and advocate for a wide variety of national and Wisconsin based clients.

Michael Landrum has extensive background in both the private and public arenas. He held leadership positions at Northrop Grumman, PACE-Capstone and Molten Metal Technology. He also previously served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense, chief of staff to the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Policy and Planning, and director of the Washington office for the U.S. Special Operations Command.

Landrum earned a bachelor’s degree from West Point and a master’s degree from the University of Virginia. He was a National Security Fellow at the Harvard John F. Kennedy School of Government and a Senior Fellow at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. He retired from the Army as a Colonel and is also a graduate of the Naval War College.
