CA Democratic Reps Howard L. Berman and Brad Sherman debated Thursday night. The hotly contested race for the 30th CD almost took a violent turn. Near-Dem-on-Dem violence. What’s that about? A video of the event shows the two men just inches apart at one point, with Sherman later putting his arm around Berman, saying, “Do you want to get into this?” A uniformed officer soon appeared on stage to separate the two.
