Kantar Media’s CMAG took a stab at estimating the number of political spots each day on TV until November – and came up with 43,000, give or take a few. That means another 2.3 million ads left to air in less than 2 months for an ultimate total of 3.6 million. That said, TV Ad spending in the race for the White House has topped two-thirds of a billion dollars, according to sources watching the advertising market, with Republicans only narrowly outpacing Democrats.
